Work is definitely progressing after just three days! Poses are shaping up, structures are firming up and this intro ceramics class is cruising through the basic steps of building with coils.  All of the finished chickens will be life sized...but a few will weigh in significantly larger!  

 Synchronized coiling takes place at one end of the table.

Becky has secured her squatting chicken.  The brief wobble of wet, wet walls gave her a bit of a challenge that she conquered nobly!

Mark is pretty close to finishing...just the final neck section, beak and such.   Major work will continue for everyone on Monday and Tuesday with final critiques on Wednesday.
